This is for folks who are willing to begin training on their own but would like help with the trickier part of introducing the cows to the weed and making sure they’re grazing it in pasture. We first tried it in 2008 in Montana and it worked well. You get:

- Background on your target weed
- DVDs: "We'd Eat It! Turning Cows Into Weed Managers" and " Training Cows and Bison to Eat Canada Thistle: Ranchers' Perspectives"
- A plan for your trainees to train the rest of your herd.
- A training plan and feeding schedules prepared by us
- We'll be there with you for 5 days to help introduce the weed to your trainees and make sure they're eating it in pasture.

You’d like to train your cows, but it would help if you had a little backup from us to answer questions and make sure you’re on the right track.

- Assistance putting together the training plan, from choosing the animals and training site to what to feed them when training starts. You'll get a short "workbook" of questions and then we'll go over the results to come up with a training process specific to your operation.
- Daily phone consultations as training begins to help make sure your anaimsl are doing what you want them to do.
- DVDs: "We'd Eat It! Turning Cows Into Weed Managers" and " Training Cows and Bison to Eat Canada Thistle: Ranchers' Perspectives"
- A plan for using your trainees to train the rest of your herd.

This is for folks who want their animals trained for them from start to finish. This price includes working with you and one of your neighbors. You get:

- Background on your target weed
- DVDs: "We'd Eat It! Turning Cows Into Weed Managers" and " Training Cows and Bison to Eat Canada Thistle: Ranchers' Perspectives"
-We'll spend ten days with your trainees, making sure they eat weeds in pasture.
- We'll leave you with a training plan for using your trained animals to teach the rest of the herd.
